A bit of a late bloomer to the writing craft, I am just getting started! At present, I am working on one fiction and two nonfiction projects. I also have a blog in infancy status.

My expertise is nonfiction historical research. If you are in need of a researcher and/or writing collaborator, please reach out to me!

For information about my blog, please visit the sub-page here entitled "The Angler's Song".

My doctoral dissertation, A History of the 14th Army Band (WAC): 1949-1976, was published by ProQuest in 2015. It received an "Honorable Mention" award by the IGEB International Society for Research and Promotion of Wind Music in 2016. Please contact me if you would like for me to give an informative and entertaining presentation for your organization regarding the fascinating story of the Women's Army Corps Band!

I co-wrote a chapter for Music Teaching and Learning in America's Public Normal Schools with Dr. Roger Anderson. The chapter is about the history of the music education program at the Northern Arizona Normal School in Flagstaff, Arizona from 1899-1925. It was published by Bloomsbury Press in December, 2025.

I wrote a short story about my cat Dexter. It was selected for inclusion in an anthology called And God Made Pets, published by Christian Writers for Life in July 2025.
